Driver / Warehouse Position
SUMMARY: The driver / warehouse position is responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and knowledge of materials delivered to the customer. The driver / warehouse employee will safely drive and handle all materials in accordance to the company standards of service. This position is also responsible for various duties related to the handling of materials in the warehouse. This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Counter Sales / Warehouse
SUMMARY: Our counter sales / warehouse associates make sure our products are received, stored and distributed accurately and efficiently. Counter Sales/Warehouse Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, knowledge of materials and ensuring our customers’ orders are packed with care and accuracy. Our counter sales / warehouse associates work 40 hours per week, thorough and comprehensive training is provided to all associates.
Inside Sales Representative
SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for maintaining current customer satisfaction with service and sales, and generate new sales/business thru sales initiatives and goals. Provide professional services with product knowledge, problem solving, and order enhancement.
Sales Trainee – Non Exempt
SUMMARY: We are actively seeking exemplary candidates to join CED’s competitive Sales Training Program. We provide the tools and training for learning the ins and outs of one of the nation’s fastest growing industries. In this approximate 24-month rotational position, you will be exposed to various roles in each facet of the company, gaining experience in Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Account Management, Outside Sales, Purchasing, Operations and more! The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives. This role is intended to provide the tools and training for being a successful Account Manager within the company.
Management Trainee – Non Exempt-DIV
SUMMARY: CED’s Management Training program is tailored to sales-minded candidates seeking management positions in an evolving industry. CED is a privately held company with more than 750 locations. Management Trainees are taught every aspect of CED’s business in order to run their own multi-million-dollar location upon completion of the training.
On-the-job training lasts for 2-3 years and includes rotations in warehouse, counter sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements, purchasing, account management, project management, inventory management and business development. Throughout the program, trainees attend multiple sessions focused on electrical products, sales, and management.
While the position provides real on-the-job training, there is also online training related to electrical systems, sales, and management. No prior industry experience is necessary: we give you the tools needed to be successful with CED. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding communication skills, is geographically flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted industry.
